The details
Three dome-tipped brushes built for dry-brushing, stencilling and soft texture.
- Set of 3 with dome-shaped tips, a shape favoured by professional high-end painters
- Holds more paint and releases it evenly across a surface
- Works on canvas, wood, fabric and through metal or plastic stencils
- Easy to clean
The dome spreads a small amount of paint over a wide area with a very light touch, which is exactly what dry-brushing needs and exactly what a flat brush fights you on. Weathering, highlights, texture and stencil work come out clean instead of blotched.
Versatile enough to handle any method of painting, and a straightforward gift for a beginner or an experienced painter alike.
Why it’s made this way
Everything we sell is chosen by a family of working artists in Arundel, West Sussex, picked because we’d use it ourselves, fairly priced, and backed by our 60-day free returns. If it doesn’t make painting easier, it doesn’t make the range.

Brushes this good deserve
to last decades
Rinse the same day
Pigment left overnight stiffens the belly of a brush, lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap keeps sable soft for years.
Reshape while damp
Draw the head to a point between finger and thumb and let it dry flat, never bristles-down in a jar.
Store dry, roll for travel
A canvas roll keeps ferrules dry and tips protected, it’s why we gift one with our kits.
Never let paint reach the ferrule
Load the belly, not the base. Dried paint under the metal splays the head permanently, the most common way a good brush dies.
Mix with an old brush
Keep one retired round for stirring and palette work; your fine tips stay fine for the marks that matter.
