Caring for your brushesA minute after each session keeps them for years
Look after them and they’ll keep their shape and point for years. It only takes a minute at the end of each session.
Before first useSoak them briefly in cool water, comb the hairs gently from top to bottom and let them dry upright.
Rinse in lukewarm water until it runs clear. With acrylics, don’t let paint dry in the hairs.
Now and then, work a drop of mild soap gently through the hairs, then rinse.
Reshape the point with your fingers.
Dry them flat or bristles up, never resting on the bristles.
Avoid
Leaving brushes standing in water, very hot water (it loosens the glue), and scrubbing on the bottom of the jar.
Store
Once they’re dry, keep them flat or upright with the heads up, somewhere they won’t get knocked.
If a brush ever sheds or loses its point within 60 days, our guarantee covers it.
