- ✔ A3 TABLE-TOP EASEL / ART & CRAFT WORKSTATION – Made from smooth, hard-wearing beech wood. The board has a working area of 450 x 317mm which will comfortably fit A3 size work & also provides sufficient space for masking the perimeter of A3 work if desired. It can be adjusted to 5 different positions (one of which also acts as the closing position) – these are approximately: 180°, 38°, 54°, 67° and 79°.
- ✔ 10 ACRYLIC PAINTS – These vibrant colours and richly pigmented paints are formulated for maximum brilliance and colour clarity with a buttery consistency for easy mixing and blending. Each paint has a fantastic thick consistency which will retain brush or spatula marks and give your work brilliant texture. Suitable for most paintable surfaces including paper/card, stretched canvas, wood, glass, plastic, foam, ceramic and more! The paints are 100% safe – Non-toxic; ASTM D-4236 and EN71 Certified.
- ✔ 5 ACRYLIC & OIL BRUSHES – anti-shedding, synthetic brushes made from high quality fibres to give you a consistent stroke every time. The set consists of: Round No.0, 4 & 8, Flat No. 10 with a Long Flat 3/4″. Durable brush handles are designed for maximum strength & comfort and can also be used with oil paints as well as acrylic. Which set should I start with?

Getting started
Give new brushes a gentle rinse before first use to settle the bristles, then blot dry
on a cloth. Load paint on the belly of the brush rather than pushing it into the ferrule
(the metal collar), that's what keeps a point sharp for years.
While you work
Don't leave brushes standing in water; it splays the bristles and loosens the ferrule.
Rest them flat instead, and rinse between colours.
Cleaning & storing
Rinse until the water runs clear, reshape the head with your fingers, and dry flat or
hanging down. Once fully dry, store them upright or rolled in a brush bag so nothing
presses on the tips.

Rinse the same day
Pigment left overnight stiffens the belly of a brush, lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap keeps sable soft for years.
Reshape while damp
Draw the head to a point between finger and thumb and let it dry flat, never bristles-down in a jar.
Store dry, roll for travel
A canvas roll keeps ferrules dry and tips protected, it’s why we gift one with our kits.
Never let paint reach the ferrule
Load the belly, not the base. Dried paint under the metal splays the head permanently, the most common way a good brush dies.
Mix with an old brush
Keep one retired round for stirring and palette work; your fine tips stay fine for the marks that matter.
